Responsibilities:
- Assist senior engineers with full structural analysis of new and retrofit building and bridge projects using SAP2000/ETABS and hand calculations.
- Prepare load-path, member-sizing and foundation calculations, ensuring compliance with OBC, CSA-S16 and CAN/CSA-A23.3.
- Develop detailed drawings and BIM models in Revit; coordinate with civil, mechanical and electrical teams to resolve clashes early.
- Conduct site reviews, condition assessments and construction inspections; draft field reports and recommend remedial actions.
- Review shop drawings, respond to RFIs and issue clarifications during construction-administration phase.
- Contribute to proposal writing, quantity take-offs and cost estimates for structural scopes.
Qualifications:
- BASc/BEng in Civil or Structural Engineering; 1-5 yrs design experience (EIT or working toward P.Eng.).
- Working knowledge of structural analysis software plus Revit & AutoCAD; valid G-class licence for occasional site travel.
